Exmouth Police are continuing their search for a man who they say was caught on CCTV camera entering a woman’s cubicle and filming women showering at an Exmouth holiday park at the start of the month. Police allege the man went into the female shower block at the RAC Exmouth Cape Holiday Park around 11.50pm on Saturday, July 2. Police said he entered with a cloth wrapped over his face in an apparent bid to hide his identity. CCTV footage allegedly shows him pulling out his phone and trying to record women who were showering inside the cubicle. Exmouth Police Sen. Const John Lennon said the station thoroughly checked through the guest list of the holiday park and CCTV around the accommodation facility to track all travellers’ entries and exits. “We’re struggling to identify him. Nothing indicates that he is a local, he is most likely a traveller staying in the park as a guest,” he said. Sen. Const Lennon said he could not confirm the wanted man’s age, but that he was about 187cm tall. Sen Const said the CCTV footage did not indicate the offender was intoxicated or affected by drugs. “If he is not caught, I’m worried it could lead to more serious offences in the future,” he said. Sen. Const confirmed there were no women physically assaulted. Police are asking for anyone with information regarding this incident, or who can identify the man, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
