One of Australia’s most recognisable faces, Ernie Dingo, was spotted dining at Skeetas Restaurant in Geraldton recently.

“He was here Saturday for dinner and Sunday for breakfast,” according to Skeetas co-owner Colin Cox.

He said Dingo looked fit and healthy and was joined by several family members.

Dingo from the Yamaji group of indigenous peoples, is a designated Australian National Living Treasure.

Dingo presented The Great Outdoors travel show for 16 years and narrated part of the opening ceremony for the Sydney Olympics.

He now has a show on SBS/NITV called Going Places.

Dingo has also starred in movies such as Blackfellas and Crocodile Dundee II.
