Christmas cheer overflows at Geraldton & Districts Senior Citizens Action Group festive lunch
Christmas cheer was overflowing at the Geraldton and Districts Senior Citizens Action Group festive lunch last month.
The annual Christmas function was held at the QE2 Centre on December 8, and was attended by about 100 members and friends.

An enjoyable time was had by all with good food, conversation and entertainment provided by Champion Bay High School band.

Door prizes were won by Ellie Henderson, Bev Daniels and Lyn Blackmore.
Lots of raffles were available and some of the lucky few included Lina Mittoni, Noelene Renwick, Fran Noble, Faye Wright and Lorraine Couacard.

Everyone received a gift to take home.
A big thanks goes to the committee and helpers who set up the day before and cleared up after the event.

The delicious food was provided by caterers Angies Bella, which was amazing as usual.
December 14 was the last day of activities at the QE2 Centre in 2020.
And remember to keep these dates in your diary:
January 11, 2021: activities restart at the QE2 Centre.
February 9, 2021: the annual general meeting. Voting 8.30am to 10am. All positions are open for nomination now and close at 10am on Monday, January 25, 2021. Wishing everyone a very happy Christmas and healthy New Year.
