Christmas cheer was overflowing at Geraldton and Districts Senior Citizens Action Group annual festive lunch.

All up, 102 members and friends gathered for the party at the QEII Centre on Tuesday, December 14. The hall and tables were beautifully decorated by the social committee’s Val Brown and her willing helpers.

President Trevor Hansen opened the day with a hearty welcome, requesting everyone stand for a minute to remember absent friends who had passed away during the year.

Card winners were Terry Brennan, Anna Sisson, Bob Taylor and Doreen Major. A raffle was available and all proceeds will be going to the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
