Northampton police were alerted to an alleged one-day crime spree allegedly committed by a single juvenile on Sunday after calls to the Geraldton Police Station. On Sunday afternoon, Northampton police allege seven houses in the town were targeted by the juvenile. Northampton Police Station Sen. Const. Brock Lucev said the day after the alleged crime spree, a 14-year-old boy was brought into the station by his guardian and admitted his guilt. “They were reported to Geraldton on the Sunday evening, and then the boy’s carer actually brought him into the station on Monday morning,” he said. “The boy hasn’t been formally interviewed as yet, and no charges have been laid as yet.” Sen. Const. Lucev said the boy was not known to police, and juvenile crime was unusual in Northampton. The investigation is ongoing.
