Bridgetown’s streak of losses to start the season continued this round with a 41-run defeat at the hands of Pemberton.

Nick Mills and Peter Bamess opened the batting and made a solid start before Bamess was dismissed for 17 and was soon followed by Mills for 20.

Then a great partnership from Gary Mills (59) and John Starkie (54) pushed Pemberton’s total toward the 150 mark. Some late-order hitting from Jesse Mills (15) and David Meehan (13) pushed Pemberton’s final score to 8-215.
