WA Lotto winners: Another Monday Lotto millionaire caps incredible run for State

WA has produced yet another Lotto millionaire, capping an incredible run for the State.

Purchased from Lakelands Newsagency in Yangebup, the ticket is worth a cool $1 million.

Store Owner Asha Mohite said she was over the moon with excitement.

“It’s awesome,” she said.

“I have a few regulars who play Monday Lotto, so I am hoping it’s one of them.

“It’s a very nice feeling to make someone happy and even better to feel like you’ve contributed to that in some way.”

Incredibly, WA has doubled its tally of Monday Lotto winners in 2021 just six months into 2022.

Monday night’s win was the State’s eighth Monday millionaire for the year, and the State’s 35th division one winner so far this year.

The win comes off the back of WA recording a Super66 Division One win on Saturday 11 June valued at over $58,000 and sold at Royal Perth Hospital Newsagency.

Store Owner Frederick Notargiacomo said a lotto win always created a happy buzz around the hospital.

“It’s likely the ticket belongs to one of the staff here at the hospital,” he said.

“Which is just fantastic, it’s a great reward for those who dedicate their lives to helping others.”

This week, players have the chance to take home $20 million in Thursday’s Powerball jackpot.
