All Stars 1 set up grand final clash with reigning premiers Olympians 1 in Katanning Netball Association

Kojonup have been eliminated in straight sets in the Katanning Netball Association A division finals series after going down to All Stars 1 by nine goals on Saturday.

After finishing second on the ladder, Kojonup 1 lost their second semifinal clash last weekend and then were knocked out in straight sets after their preliminary final loss.

All Stars 1 had the upper hand from the outset and kept a healthy lead throughout to win 50-41 and progress through to the decider.

A late flurry of goals advanced Kojonup 2 to the B-grade decider, defeating Tambellup Bluebirds by 11 goals.

Both sides played a tough game and only a few goals separated the two sides for much of the game but Kojonup 2 were able to break away in the final term after netting multiple shots in a row to finish 41-30 victors.

Dumbleyung 2 proved far too strong for Cardinals Phoenix in the C-grade preliminary final finishing comfortable 57-29 winners.

Both teams were hungry to progress but extra determination from Dumbleyung 2 ensured they prevailed by 28 goals.

Preliminary final day started off with some fantastic round robin games between Go Juniors teams.

With quick back-to-back games, they got to pump out the last of their netball fever for the season.

Juniors had a real nail-biter between McIntosh Magpies and NAB Lightning.

Scores were level multiple times but Magpies got their noses in front to prevail 25-23.

Magpies will now face Kojonup Opals in the junior grand final starting at 10.30am this Saturday.

Reigning premiers Olympians 1 will face All Stars 1 in the A-grade grand final starting at 3pm on court 1.

Kojonup 2 and All Stars 2 will play for the B-grade premiership at 1.15pm on court 1.

Dumbleyung 2 will tackle Kojonup 3 in the C-grade decider at 1.45pm on court 4.

Presentations will be held after juniors and seniors.
