13-year-old fights for life after being hit by car in Bentley

A 13-year-old girl is in a critical condition in Royal Perth Hospital after being hit by a car in Bentley this morning.

Police were called to the collision on Albany Highway near the intersection of Tate Street at about 11.50am.

Police say the crash involved a Hyundai IX35 and a teenage pedestrian.

The girl was taken by St John Ambulance to hospital.

The driver of the Hyundai was not hurt.
