A Victorian man has admitted killing another man after robbing him of drugs while armed with a sawn-off double-barrelled shotgun.

Blake Wynne, 23, on Monday faced Melbourne Magistrates Court where he pleaded guilty to the armed robbery manslaughter of Abdul Hakim Naurozi, 31, at Endeavour Hills, in Melbourne's southeast, in May 2020.

He also pleaded guilty to the armed robbery of another man in South Melbourne, on the same day, as well as possessing a firearm despite being a prohibited person.

Wynne's co-accused, 20-year-old Jordan Fiscalini, admitted robbing Naurozi in May last year while armed with a knife, as well as the armed robbery of the other man in South Melbourne.

Wynne and Fiscalini were originally charged with murder but this charge was dropped on Monday.

They will both face the Victorian Supreme Court on August 11 for a directions hearing.
