WA records four new cases of coronavirus

WA has recorded four new coronavirus cases in hotel quarantine overnight.

All the new cases are men aged between 30 and 57 who were overseas travellers returning to Perth.

There are now 56 active coronavirus cases in WA, all of them in hotel quarantine.

The State’s confirmed COVID-19 case total is now 757. Of those, 692 have recovered.

Meanwhile, 26 crew member remain onboard two coronavirus-infected ships docked in Fremantle Port.

No new members of the Key Integrity or the Al Messilah tested positive to the virus.

One crew member from the Al Messilah has been moved from hospital to hotel quarantine while 14 healthy crew members remain onboard.

Deep cleaning has been completed on the Key Integrity while 12 essential crew members remain onboard. Eight of their shipmates are in hotel quarantine.
