Body found after central Qld house fire

A body has been found after house fire in the central Queensland city of Rockhampton.

Emergency services were called to the blaze at a home on Churchill St, Park Avenue, about 7am on Friday.

Police say the yet to be identified body was found after the fire had been put out.

Investigators are trying to identify the cause of the blaze.
