Community members from the city of Bunbury and shires of Harvey and Capel joined forces on May 1 and put their hands to good use to help those who have undergone breast surgery.

Zonta Bunbury members and South West residents made 250 breast cushions on the day, which will help provide protection and comfort to women and men after surgery.

The club often struggles to keep up with the demand for the cushions, but a community grant from Aqwest meant it could hold a community production day.

Anyone in need of a breast cushion can contact zontabunbury@yahoo.com.au to request one.
