A teenage boy has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after he was allegedly stabbed during an altercation at a Brisbane school.
Emergency crews were called to a high school in Karawatha in Brisbane’s south, shortly before midday following reports of a fight between two students.
A 17-year-old student was treated at the scene before being taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Reports suggest the 17-year-old’s injuries were life-threatening, but he is now in a stable condition.
A 16-year-old boy, who is known to the injured teenager, is assisting police with their investigation.
Police have established a presence in the surrounding area as they continue their inquiries and are appealing for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.
