Police investigate two fatal crashes in horror 48 hours on Great Southern roads
Two people were killed in a horror weekend on Great Southern roads.
About 4pm on Saturday, a 23-year-old woman was driving a white Nissan Patrol east on Tie Line Road in Mindarabin when the vehicle left the road and rolled.
She died of her injuries at the scene.
Mindaribin is east of the town of Gnowangerup.
About 8.30pm on Sunday, a 49-year-old man was driving on Chillinup Road near Kojaneerup South when his vehicle left the road.
Police, St John Ambulance and firefighters rushed to the scene but the man died of his injuries.
He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
Major Crash officers are investigating both crashes.
They would like to speak to anyone who witnessed either crash or saw the vehicles before the crashes.

The Great Southern Police District recorded a road toll of 27 last year.
That was the district’s worst road toll in five years and 37 per cent higher than the five-year average of 19.6 deaths.
