IN PICTURES: Music and memories for St Joseph’s senior students as they celebrate the ‘Shimmering Tides’ ball

Glittering gowns, sharp suits and plenty of dancing set the scene as St Joseph’s College students from Albany celebrated their annual ball in style. Year 11 and 12 students gathered at Retravision Stadium on Saturday, February 12 for the much-anticipated “Shimmering Tides” ball. Students enjoyed an all you can eat buffet before taking to the dance floor with DJ Tino keeping the party going late into the evening. The event recognised a number of students with special awards on the night. Year 11 award winners included best couple Ambrose Clayton and Eva Hack, life of the party Ella Tasila plus prince and princess Peri Wood and Marcey O’Donnell. Among the Year 12 students, Adrielle Liwang was named beau and Leilani Wrobel was named belle of the ball. Imogen Ireland was crowned life of the party and Teresa Algeria and Liam Corbett were awarded best couple. The night was filled with laughter, dancing and plenty of memorable moments, giving the students a chance to celebrate the special occasion together.
