Maximising on space and distinctive features for entertaining, the Berkeley by Homebuyers Centre is the epitome of relaxed and functional living.

With three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a theatre and a study, Homebuyers Centre Display and New Product Manager John Care said the home included all the modern necessities while being on a narrower block of land.

This home is designed for a 10.5m frontage block.

“This home is designed for a 10.5m frontage block, so we have endeavoured to factor in flexible spaces that add to the functionality of the home,” he said.

Striking from the kerbside, the home’s classic facade is neutral and modern with a light grey palette and plenty of greenery.

A streamlined glass door provides welcome views into the home’s hallway, hinting at the contemporary and refreshing design within.

“The floor plan provides clear definition between the various zones of the home,” Mr Care said. “The master, two bedrooms and a theatre are at the front of the home and the lively, entertainment-focused zones are at the rear of the home.”

Featuring an indulgent ensuite and a walk-in-robe, the master bedroom is a modern masterpiece, complete with feature pendant lighting and full-length windows to brighten the space.

Across from the master bedroom is a chic, soft-toned living room partitioned by a modern feature wall.

“The Berkeley also features a study just off the central hallway, with an aperture feature allowing plenty of natural light in to brighten the zone from the main living area,” Mr Care said.

“Perfect for those working from home or those who need a dedicated homework space, the study is within earshot of the main living area but is tucked away enough to create a private and quiet workspace.”

As a central focus, the Berkeley showcases an airy kitchen, dining and living space. The gourmet kitchen features InAlto appliances and Caesarstone benchtops.

“With the addition of an open scullery, the kitchen is designed to maximise working areas and storage space,” Mr Care said. “The scullery itself features a stylish gas strut servery window, which allows homeowners to deliver food and drinks directly to their outdoor entertaining space without having to travel through the main living area.

“A deep consideration for entertaining and outdoor living very much influenced the design of this home. Large double sliding doors in the living area allow the space to open up to one large entertaining zone, giving homeowners and guests the freedom to move freely from indoor entertaining to the outdoors.”

The Berkeley features Homebuyers Centre’s new method of construction for single-storey homes, BrickSteel+.

“The Berkeley is built with a single exterior bricked wall backed by the inner strength of TRUECORE steel frames,” Mr Care said.

“Not only did this home and our other BrickSteel+ homes save six to eight weeks during construction, frames are also 100 per cent termite proof, won’t catch fire and are 100 per cent recyclable.”

The Berkeley is located in Brabham and is open for viewing Wednesdays from 2pm-5pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm-5pm.
