Wildly popular Ribs Lane is opening a brand-new venue in Forrestfield, with the smokehouse revealing a in-house microbrewery and local tavern in Perth’s east.
The restaurant — which already has venues in Mount Lawley and Subiaco — will be offering Ribs Lane’s classic smokehouse fare alongside three brewing tanks so punters can get their beer “straight from the source”.
The mix of smokehouse and brewery “marks an evolution” for Ribs Lane, with the new venue labelled its “most ambitious venue to date”.
“Expect stacked trays of slow-cooked ribs dripping in glaze, flame-kissed cuts, loaded sides, and unapologetically big flavours in every bite,” a statement from Ribs Lane said.
“It’s the kind of food that demands attention and keeps people coming back, now elevated by house-brewed pours crafted to match.”
The new venue will be leaning into its “neighbourhood tavern” vibe, with a 120-person capacity and “family friendly” space including a playground located just outside.
Excitingly, Ribs Lane is setting “committed meat lovers” a challenge in celebration of the Forrestfield venue opening.
The first seven people to polish off its Meat Platter Challenge in less than 15 minutes will receive free ribs for a whole year
As part of the deal, the winners will receive $100 per month to nab their free ribs to be spent at any Ribs Lane location.
Ribs Lane will be open every day from 11am until late, “making it one of the longest-trading venues in the area”, and is complete with free parking “designed with the local community in mind”.
