Tones And I announces Australia and New Zealand tour, bringing Dance Monkey fever to Fremantle

Fresh off supporting US superstar Pink on tour, Tones And I is gearing up for her very own Australia and NZ headline tour this year.

The multi-ARIA Award winner will kick off her tour in Sydney in August before heading to Newcastle, Auckland, Brisbane, Townsville, Fremantle and Melbourne.

The Victorian, born Toni Watson, will play at Fremantle Arts Centre on September 5.

Three years since her last headline tour, Tones And I has received global acclaim for her electric live performances and recently completed a 20-date stadium tour supporting Pink across Australia and New Zealand.

Tones And I said: “The support and love around Australia and NZ has been so incredible! My live show is something I hold very close to my heart and is the best representation of who I am. I’m so grateful to be embraced by people around Australia and NZ! I hope people leave feeling a part of something.”

The tour will highlight new songs from her sophomore album, including Dreaming and I Get High, plus fan favourites Dance Monkey, Fly Away, Cloudy Day and Never Seen The Rain.

Since exploding onto the global scene in 2019 as a busker from the Mornington Peninsula, she has smashed records, garnered multiple awards, sold out tours, surpassed 10 billion streams, earned five ARIAs, and reached multi-platinum heights around the world.

Her breakout Dance Monkey went platinum six times in the US and is the most Shazamed song.

Tones And I’s full-length debut, Welcome To The Madhouse, toppled the Australian Chart at #1 in 2021.

Along the way, she has also collaborated with Macklemore, blackbear, Jonas Blue, Sam Feldt and BIA, in addition to contributing music to Netflix’s True Spirit and the blockbuster sequel Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

Not only does Tones And I write and perform but she also produces and directs her stage visuals.

Tickets go on sale to the public on April 15 at 12pm local.
