Tietto Minerals has doled out yet another rousing set of gold drilling intercepts from its Abujar gold project in Côte d’Ivoire that already boasts over three million ounces of the precious yellow metal. The latest round of infill drilling returned a Christmas sack of high-grade gold intercepts including a 3 metre hit grading 27.3 g/t gold contained within a broader 7m intersection grading 11.87 g/t gold from 83m.

According to the company, its sixth batch of infill drilling was aimed at converting the indicted status of its resources up to measured ahead of first gold production that is earmarked for late next year. Tietto’s indicated resources currently weigh in at a healthy 35 million tonnes grading 1.5 g/t gold for 1.65 million ounces.
