Australia’s house price boom runs into constraints as Perth growth slows
House prices continued to climb in November but at a much slower pace than earlier in the year as the market faces a number of constraints.
The CoreLogic home value index rose 1.3 per cent in November, its 14th consecutive monthly increase. But prices in Perth made only a marginal gain, up Perth 0.2 per cent for the month and taking growth over the past year to 14.5 per cent.
